Rise is a family of 13 schools across north, west and central Leicestershire that is growing. We educate over 2000 pupils and have over 250 staff working in our schools. The trajectory of school improvement over time has been strong.

All schools are now providing a good quality education but we would like your help to do more great things. Our schools each have their own vision and values statements, many schools had these before they joined the Rise family.
The Church of England schools within the Rise family all work within the broader Church of England Vision for Education for the common good of the whole community, educating for Wisdom, Hope, Community and Dignity.

Rise is truly at an inflection point. We have almost all of the right ingredients to do great things; a supportive and ambitious Board, thirteen good schools, strong financial health and leaders and staff hungry for greater collaboration and alignment.
In creating this new senior role, we want to make sure our strategic lens is even more focused on developing our work with our staff. Our newly formed senior team are ridiculously ambitious for the Trust and we would need you to share that drive.
It is either indulgent or perhaps imminently sensible to give you an insight into what it will be like working with me. I will let you flourish, with very high levels of professional autonomy. I will try to simplify things, not sweat the small stuff and often use humour in moments of pending doom. I am incredibly ambitious for the Trust, but listen carefully to others. I believe how we do things counts as much as what we do.
